i think i promised you back in June or July of last year after we moved into our new home, that i would be decorating my new studio space and planned to post pics for you. well -life, school, being a mom, painting bedrooms; basically putting the right priorities first bumped this project down a ways. in fact, i just did it in February. i used gift cards i received for Christmas and planned and designed my new office!
here are my very rough plans:
don’t look too long your eyes will start burning…
and here is the almost finished project:
i say almost because you have to help me pick things to put on my magnetic chalkboard. that’s right! that whole wall behind my computer is magnetic chalkboard!!! i am so excited about this! i can’t wait to share the tutorial with you on how cheap and easy it is to make it!
i am so excited to have this large space to work, create, draw a little better, dream, write, inspire, and help the kids with their homework ;)
any ideas for things to go on my magnetic chalkboard? i did draw a few in that awful sketch, but i would love to hear your ideas!
OH, and – i can’t decide…. is it
- an office?
- a studio?
- a workspace?
help!

krystina

Definitely a studio. Don’t attach the word ‘work’ to it.:) It’s absolutely lovely! What about a personal quote swirling across the top of your new chalkboard?

Hi Krystina. This space looks great and it’s your wonderful studio where all the good work comes from all your talent and unusual point of view. You think like a true artist.
Love
